Fit a voiceover to exactly 30 seconds

Need a voiceover to land on a 30-second radio or TV slot, a bumper or a promo? Upload it and Audio2Time returns it at exactly 30.000 seconds — silences trimmed first, then a gentle pitch-preserving tempo nudge only if needed. No chipmunk effect, broadcast-ready loudness. Free, no signup.

Why "just speed it up" doesn't work

Speeding a whole clip up to hit 0:30 raises the pitch and makes the read sound rushed and unnatural. Audio2Time takes the opposite approach: it first removes the dead air — the pauses between words and sentences — which usually recovers several seconds on its own. Only if the remaining speech is still longer than your target does it apply a small time-stretch that keeps the pitch unchanged. The voice sounds like the talent, just tightened to the slot.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a voiceover exactly 30 seconds?

Upload it, set the target to 30 seconds, and download. Pauses are trimmed first, then a small pitch-preserving tempo change is applied only if needed. The output is exactly 30 seconds.

Will it sound sped up?

No — pitch is preserved and most reads reach 0:30 with little or no speed-up because the silence is removed first.

What loudness should a broadcast ad use?

EBU R128 at −23 LUFS for TV/radio (built in), or −14 LUFS for YouTube and social.
